Founded in 1979 by three brothers on the Adana - Mersin road, Akyem A.Ş. started its journey with feed production in a 500 m2 closed area.

In the 70s and 80s, when both feed and feed business were not well known, the founders of Akyem A.Ş. introduced feed business in Adana by pioneering the sector and making great efforts in this regard.

Aiming to continuously improve its facilities, the company's slaughter capacity was increased to 9,000 birds per hour in 2010, and a new hatchery with a weekly production capacity of 670,000 chicks was built in 2010 and this hatchery was put into operation in 2011.
