Iron (Fe) in Bior Nitro Plus is one of the essential trace elements for growth and development, directly involved in photosynthesis. However, it is the most common micronutrient deficient in calcareous soils formed in arid and semi-arid regions.

Iron is one of the most deficient micro-elements in the world. Zinc, boron and iron deficiencies are the most common in Turkish soils. The main reasons for this are; calcareous soils, high soil and water pH and irregularity of plant nutrients in the soil, that is, unscheduled and incorrect application of different fertilizers.

Iron deficiency symptoms start on young leaves. Young leaves turn yellow and remain green between the veins, new growing shoots become thin and stunted, fruit size decreases, brown spots appear around the main veins. In later stages, the leaves turn white and the veins turn yellow and even die back due to lack of photosynthesis.

In iron deficiency, the photosynthesis area in the plant is lost, dry matter accumulation stops and yield is significantly reduced. Bior Nitro Plus increases the photosynthetic efficiency of the plant.
